About Me

My musical journey began at 5 years old when I started taking piano lessons.  By age 10, I picked up the violin and have been hooked on music ever since!  My experience includes a broad range of genre and ensembles including playing for pop, blues and folk bands, symphony orchestras, choral and opera singing, chamber music, underscoring for theatre productions, co-directing youth theatre and more.  My skill and success are due to so many wonderful teachers and mentors over the years, including: Carol Lahti (violin), Charles Pickler (violin), David Yonan (violin), Sheri Greenawald (voice), and Kenn Gartner (piano & voice).  Some recent musical collaborations include Kishi Bashi, Shasta Symphony, North State Symphony, Rogue Valley Symphony, Solano Symphony, Toccata String Quartet, The Bracebridge Dinners, Livermore Opera Chorus, National Geographic Symphony for Our World Chorus, The Redding Performing Arts Center, and New Stages Theater Company.

In addition to performing, I have been an Educator for over 16 years; as a Private Lesson Instructor (violin, piano, voice, composition), a Public School Teacher, General Music Teacher, Math/Reading Tutor, Drama Teacher/Director, and Strings/Ensemble Coach.  Music has been an enormous blessing in my life; it has taught me so many valuable life skills that helped me get to where I am today.  My desire is to share what I've learned and bring the joy of music to others! I'm excited to see what music can do for you!
